OLYMPIQUE DE MARSEILLE | BANTERS ON TWITTER

When you manage the social networks of a professional football club, you should not be making jokes all the time because you are not there to clown around. Sometimes you have to respond clinically to external attacks in order to secure the team's standing, get respected but also satisfy the community. 🔥

#PSGOM | "PSG-OM : C'EST PAS LA CAPITALE C'EST MARSEILLE BÉBÉ"

While the Collectif Ultra Paris, main PSG fan club, had been riding the wave of the - 13 Organisé | Bande Organisée - music for a shameful banner proudly displayed in front of the Eiffel Tower (see tweet) but also other despicable attacks on a player's wife, I had photoshopped this banner on the morning of the match "just in case".

5 letters, one emoji = a tweet that went viral after the win against Paris.
#OMOL | "NO WORD NEEDED"

Two days before the match, the teaser of the song - Jul ft. Jimmy Sax | Ibiza - was released on the artist's account and was highly awaited by his fans.

On 10/11, Olympique de Marseille won against its rival Lyon after many years without victory. So I cross-posted the teaser available on Jul's account to avoid any rights issues. No words, just a muppet playing saxophone = A viral tweet echoed by many national medias including RMC.
#OMFCGB | "NEVER SPEAK BEFORE A MATCH"

The rivalry between Bordeaux and Marseille is one of the oldest in the French league. Before a match between the two clubs, the CM of the "Girondins" provokes the club by saying that the stadium was " too light blue ".

OM win the match, karma strikes. 1 emoji, 1 video of Mister V = 1 viral tweet appreciated by the community.
#SCOOM | A/C ? 🤷‍♂️

Summer 2019, while there is a heat wave, Angers mocks Olympique de Marseille by referring to a Thomas Mangani late equaliser a few months earlier.

December 2019, OM easily beat Angers at the Raymond-Kopa Stadium. The opportunity to recall this tweet with humour by showing that although we do not respond to all attacks, we can strike at any time.
